Beginning of summer is gone
Not full yet
The warm summer wind travels through the mountains and fields
The increasingly plump green ears
Nod to the colorful clouds in the sky
Everything is just right
Xiaoman is the second solar term after the beginning of summer and the beginning of summer, and it is also the eighth solar term among the twenty-four solar terms. “The Collection of Seventy-Two Hours of the Moon Order” written by Wu Cheng of the Yuan Dynasty said: “Xiao Man, mid-April. When things are small, they will be full.” This means that when things are small, everything will be full. At this time, the grains of summer crops such as wheat have begun to grow, but they are not yet mature to harvest, so they are called Xiaoman.
