“粽”情端午与“粽”不同The Dragon Boat Festival is not the same as "zongzi"

端午节，是每年农历五月初五，端午节又称端阳节、重午节、龙舟节、龙日节、正阳节、浴兰节、天中节。端午节起源于中国，是中国首个入选世界非遗的节日。

端午节在门口挂艾草、菖蒲，就像贴上一道灵符，可以趋利避害。艾草代表招百福，插在门口可使主人身体健康。

古语云：“饮了雄黄酒，病魔都远走。”

雄黄酒，是在白酒或自酿的黄酒里加入微量雄黄而成，具有杀菌驱虫解五毒的功效，中医还用来治皮肤病。在没有碘酒之类消毒剂的古代，用雄黄泡酒，有祛毒解痒之效。

As the saying goes：”After drinking Realgar wine, the disease will go away.”

Realgar wine is made by adding a small amount of realgar into Baijiu or home-made yellow rice wine. It has the efficacy of sterilization, insect repellency and detoxification. It is also used to treat skin diseases in traditional Chinese medicine. In ancient times when there were no disinfectants such as iodine, soaking realgar in wine had the effect of detoxifying and relieving itching.
