节徽的意义
树形，表示全民义务植树3至5棵，人人动手，绿化祖国大地。
“中国植树节”和“3.12”，表示改造自然，造福人类，年年植树，坚韧不拔的决心。
五棵树可会意为“森林”，由此引伸连接着外圈，显示着绿化祖国，实现以森林为主体的自然生态体系的良性循环。
植树节的意义
城市防护林具有减缓风速的作用，其有效范围在树高40倍以内，其中在10～20倍范围内效果最好，可降低风速50%。
在农田林网内通常可减缓风速30%～40%，提高相对湿度5%～15%，增加土壤含水量10%～20%。据测定，林冠可截留降水20%左右，大大削弱了雨滴的冲击力
地表只要有1厘米厚的枯枝落叶，就可以把地表径流量减少到裸地的1/4以下，泥沙减少到裸地7%以下。
各国的植树节

春风吐绿、草木初萌，又是一年植树造林的好时节，我们在这阳光灿烂的日子里迎来了我国第44个植树节。参加义务植树是每个公民的法定义务，要深入开展好全民义务植树，就要坚持全国动员、全民动手、全社会共同参与。为了积极响应党和国家的号召，更是为了培养小朋友们热爱自然，热爱生命的品质，我们培基幼儿园开展了植树节活动。
The spring breeze is green, the grass and trees are sprouting, and it is a good time for afforestation. Today we celebrate the 44th Arbor Day.Voluntary participating in tree planting is the legal obligation of every citizen.We must adhere to the national mobilization, and altogether participate in Arbor Day activities. Baston Kindergarten launched the Arbor Day event in order to cultivate children’s love of nature and life.

3月12日，在植树活动前，老师通过各种形式向幼儿介绍“植树节”的来历，植树的意义，以及如何爱护、养护小树苗。小朋友听得认认真真，津津有味，一个个跃跃欲试。
On March 12, before the tree-planting activity, the teacher introduced the origin of “Arbor Day” to the children through various forms, the meaning of tree-planting, and how to maintain the saplings. The children listened attentively and tried to answer questions one by one.
活动开始了，孩子们在老师的带领下，来到了种植区，在老师的指导、帮助下，孩子们争先恐后兴奋极了，挖坑、栽树苗、（下种子）、填土、浇水，只见他们拿着小铲子、小铁锹，在班级的植物角种下一颗颗希望的种子，在校园围墙边栽上了一棵棵充满希望的小树苗。孩子们把精心绘制的班级标牌挂在自己班的小树上，充满爱心的行动表达了他们对小树的爱护和祝福。
The activity started. Under the leadership of the teacher, the children came to the planting area. The children were very excited. They dug holes, planted saplings, (planted seeds), filled soil, watered; children plant seeds of hope,small saplings in the corners and next to the campus fence. The children hung the class signs on the small plants in their class, expressed their love and blessings for the nature.
ARBOR DAY
通过本次活动，不仅让小朋友认识了植树节的意义，更学会了爱护绿植，从小树立起植树造林、绿化祖国的责任意识，做一名护绿小使者，用心呵护校园里的花草树木，不践踏花草，不攀折树木；做树木的朋友亲手照顾好它，和小树一起长大。
Through this activity, children not only learned the meaning of Arbor Day, but also learned how to take of care green plants. They have established a sense of responsibility for planting trees and greening the motherland. Children can be a little green messenger and take care of the flowers and trees on campus. Don’t trample on flowers and plants, don’t climb and break trees; be a friend of trees and take care of it with your own hands, and grow up together with the small trees.
