2021年12月20日是澳门回归祖国22周年的纪念日，培基双语幼儿园开展了“庆祝澳门回归”主题教育活动，让幼儿从小在内心植入热爱祖国的种子。

December 20, 2021 is the 22nd anniversary of Macao’s return to the motherland.Baston Bilingual Kindergarten has launched an educational activity themed “Celebrating Macao’s return” to implant the seeds of love for the motherland in children’s hearts.

活动中，孩子们通过听老师讲澳门历史故事，观看澳门澳门回归日照片、视频等方式，回顾祖国的历史，感受澳门回归祖国22年里发生的巨大变化。听完这些振奋人心的故事后，孩子们纷纷表示：原来澳门回归是件多么不容易的事情呀，倾注了多少革命先辈的血汗，我们要以他们为榜样，牢记历史，长大后我也要守卫祖国，做一名对国家有用的人。

During the activities, the children reviewed the history of the motherland, listened to the teacher’s stories about Macao’s history and watched photos and videos of Macao’s Return day. After listening to these exciting stories, the children said: when I grow up, I also want to protect our motherland, to be a useful person to the country.

在老师的讲述中我们了解到澳门区旗的寓意：“五星照耀下的莲花”：同蒂的三瓣白莲应和了当地古称“莲岛”，代表澳凼大桥和海水的白色波纹展现临海的地区属性，上方金黄色的五星象征中国主权；深沉的绿色作底是对澳门安宁祥和的祝愿。

Children learned the meaning of the Flag of Macao: “Lotus illuminated by five stars” — the three petals of white lotus with the same echoes the ancient local name of “Lotus Island”, representing the Taipa bridge and the white ripples of the sea to show the regional property of the sea, the golden five stars above symbolized China’s sovereignty; The deep green background is a wish for Macao’s peace and harmony.
