在这暖意融融、繁花似锦的季节,我们迎来了“五一”国际劳动节。劳动是伟大的,劳动是光荣的。为了让幼儿对“五一”国际劳动节有深刻的认识,体验劳动的光荣,懂得珍惜劳动的成果,我们开展了“我劳动,我快乐”的主题活动。
In this warm and blooming season, we celebrate “May 1st” International Labor Day. Labor is great, labor is glorious. To let children have a deep understanding of the “May 1st” International Labor Day, experience the glory of labor, and how to cherish the fruits of it, we launched the theme activity “I work, I am happy”.
活动中,教师首先借助图片、多媒体等向孩子们通俗生动地介绍了“五一”国际劳动节的来历。
The teacher introduced the origin of the “May 1st” International Labor Day to children in a lively manner with the help of pictures and multimedia.
国际劳动节又称“五一国际劳动节”、“国际示威游行日”(International Workers’ Day或者May Day),是世界上80多个国家的全国性节日。定在每年的五月一日。它是全世界劳动人民共同拥有的节日。
International Labor Day, also known as “May 1st International Labor Day” and “International Workers’ Day or May Day”. It is a national holiday in more than 80 countries in the world. It is set for May 1st of each year. It is a festival shared by working people all over the world.
1889年7月,由恩格斯领导的第二国际在巴黎举行代表大会。会议通过决议,规定1890年5月1日国际劳动者举行游行,并决定把5月1日这一天定为国际劳动节。中央人民政府政务院于1949年12月作出决定,将5月1日确定为劳动节。
In July 1889, Engels held the Second International Congress in Paris. The meeting passed a resolution stipulating that the international laborers held a parade on May 1, 1890, and decided that May 1 will be an International Labor Day. The Government Affairs Council of the Central People’s Government decided in December 1949 that May 1 would be Labor Day.
在了解了“五一”国际劳动节的来历后,教师们结合各年龄阶段的幼儿特点和接受能力,组织孩子们进行义务劳动。孩子们在老师的带领下,有的拿起抹布,撸起袖子,有模有样地认真擦拭教室里的桌椅、墙壁、储物柜等物品,有的来到我们的小农场拔草、浇水,有的则来到操场帮忙清理小树的落叶、拔掉小树周边的杂草……在整个活动中,孩子们表现得都很积极,表情中充满来快乐。通过亲身参与劳动,孩子们不仅感受到来劳动的乐趣、更懂得了劳动的辛苦,而且还培养了他们尊重劳动、热爱劳动、珍惜劳动成果的意识,在劳动中获得自信和满足,起到了良好的教育效果。
After learning about the origin of “May 1st” International Labor Day, the teachers organized voluntary labor activities based on children’s characteristics. Under the leadership of the teacher, some children picked up the rags, rolled up their sleeves, and carefully wiped the desks, chairs, walls, lockers, and other items in the classroom, and some came to our small farm to pull weeds, watering. Some came to the playground to help clean the fallen leaves, pull out the weeds … Throughout the different activities, the children behaved positively, and their expressions were full of joy. Through personal participation in labor, children not only feel the joy of labor, but also understand the meaning of hard work; cultivate their awareness of respecting labor, loving labor, and cherishing the results of labor, gaining confidence and satisfaction in it.
事实上,在活动之前,教师们就让幼儿在家里进行劳动,并让他们在活动中向同伴介绍自己所做的劳动,以及在劳动中体验到的乐趣。
In fact, before the activity, the teachers let the children work at home, and let them introduce their work to their parents.
同时,我们还设置了生活技能大比拼活动,比比谁把衣服叠得最好,谁收拾物品最整齐,谁穿衣服最快,从而提升幼儿的自立能力,在“自己的事情自己做”中,感受成功的快乐!
At the same time, we also set up life skills competition activities to compare who folds the clothes best, who packs things neatly, and who wears clothes the fastest, to improve children’s self-reliance ability. “Do your things”, feel the joy of success!
通过此次主题教育活动,不仅让孩子们了解了“五一”国际劳动节的意义、感受了劳动的辛苦、体验了劳动的快乐、学会了劳动的技能,同时还培养了他们热爱劳动、尊重劳动、珍惜劳动成果的良好品质,传承了“劳动最光荣”的传统美德。
Through this theme education activity, children not only understand the meaning of “May 1st” International Labor Day, feel the hardship of labor, experience the joy of labor, and learn the skills of labor, but also cultivate their love of labor and respect. The good work quality and cherish the fruits of labor have inherited the traditional virtue of “work is the most glorious activity for the human being”.
