冬至是我国农历中一个非常重要的节气，也是我们中国传统的民间节日，冬至之后日照时间渐长，它告诉人们：冬至到，春将临，在我国古代，人们对冬至十分重视，曾有“冬至大如年”的说法，而且有庆贺冬至的习俗。
Winter Solstice is a very important solar term in The Chinese lunar calendar, and it is also a traditional Folk festival in China. After the winter Solstice, the sunshine time gradually lengthens. It tells people: Winter Solstice, spring is coming.
为了让孩子们了解传统节日的习俗，我园开展了“二十四节气–冬至”的主题活动。
教师通过组织幼儿观看录像，
了解冬至的由来，
学念“冬至”诗歌、
讲冬至故事等多种形式，
让孩子们了解冬至的来历和习俗。

In order to let children understand the customs of traditional festivals, on December 18, our kindergarten launched the “24 solar terms — Winter Solstice” theme activities.
Showing children videos and interactive presentations they understood the origin of the Winter Solstice. Teachers read and sang “Winter Solstice” nursery rhymes, told stories about winter Solstice and so on. The children understood the origin and customs of the Winter Solstice.
在老师的指导下孩子们动手擀饺子皮、包饺子、既让他们感受了节日的氛围，也体验到了劳动的乐趣，
班级里充满了欢声笑语，
冬至不再寒冷，
而是变得更加温暖。

Under the teachers guidance,
the children made dumpling wrappers,
which not only let them feel the festival atmosphere,
but also experienced the fun of labor.
孩子们与老师一起动手包了好吃的饺子，有的饺子像小船，像元宝，还像橘子瓣儿……
我包的饺子很好吃,
饺子里面有各种各样的馅儿,
有鸡蛋，还有我最爱的肉肉……
瞧，宝贝们大口大口的吃着自己包的饺子多香呀！冬至千万不要忘记吃饺子哟！
要不然，耳朵都要冻掉啦！

Children and teachers together made delicious dumplings, some dumplings look like a boat,
ingot, orange petals…
“The dumplings I make are so delicious”. Dumplings have various fillings inside.
There are dumplings with eggs,
and my favorite dumplings are with meat…
Look, the children ate their own dumplings,it so delicious! Don’t forget to eat dumplings on the Winter Solstice! Otherwise, your will freeze off!
