“大雪”是农历二十四节气中的第21个节气。
更是冬季的第三个节气，
标志着仲冬时节的正式开始。

12月7日，太阳黄经达255度时为二十四节气之一的“大雪”。大雪，顾名思义，雪量大。古人云：“大者，盛也，至此而雪盛也”。到了这个时段，雪往往下得大、范围也广。这时我国大部分地区的最低温度都降到了0℃或以 下。
