过去,我与几个孩子一起工作,通过做邮票游戏让他们学习大的数字。Derrick和Daniel能完全理解我所展示的工作,明白如何做邮票游戏。虽然他们已经升班了,但是我很高兴当他们到蒙特梭利教室学习时,还能够掌握这些工作。
他们还熟知蒙特梭利教室的规则:轻声说话,用走的而不能跑,爱护蒙特梭利教具。大多数孩子都能熟悉教室的节奏,比如Daniel、Derek、Enya和Leo,他们在行为以及阅读技能方面都表现的很好。做得好,我Tigers班的孩子们!
It is such a pleasure to watch my students mature over time. When they move between classrooms or change groups, I’m always gratified to work with them and discover that they have retained and internalized the vocabulary we study and the rules of the classroom.
In the past, I worked with several of our children as they learned large numbers via the Stamp Game. Derrick and Daniel thoroughly understood the work that I showed them and how the Stamp Game is used. While they are no longer in my homeroom, I am delighted that they continue to show mastery of the material whenever they work in the Montessori room.
They have also internalized the ground rules of a Montessori room: speak softly, walk rather than run and take care of the Montessori material. Most of our students are familiar with the rhythm of the classroom and kids like Daniel, Derek, Enya and Leo excel both in terms of behavior and in their reading skills. Well done, my Tigers!
