宋庆龄幼儿园亲子锦囊系列：大自然中的艺术

This Autumn our children have been delving into the amazing world of art and have been touched by the works of famous artists such as Yayoi Kusama, Henri Matisse, Gustav Klimt and Bridget Riley, to name a few.

今秋，孩子们探索了奇妙的艺术世界，欣赏草间弥生、亨利·马蒂斯、古斯塔夫·克里姆特和布里奇特·莱利等一些著名艺术家的作品。

A particular favourite was British environmentalist Andy Goldsworthy. Andy Goldsworthy is noted for his sculptural works using natural materials and the great  outdoors as his canvas.

其中，最受喜爱的是英国环保主义者安迪·戈德斯沃西，作为艺术家，他因使用天然材料，和把户外作为背景，来创作艺术作品而闻名。

This was a wonderful opportunity for our children to explore an alternative artistic practice and build a bridge between indoor and outdoor learning. We made full use of the outdoor resources available in our SCLK garden, which enabled our children to express their ideas. 

对孩子来说，这是极好的探索另一种艺术实践的机会，并在室内和户外学习之间，架起了一座桥梁。我们在校园里就地取材，它们可以让孩子们表达自己的想法。

We would like to take this opportunity to share the artistic processes our children participated in, so that you can then further develop these skills in your own outdoor environment.Our children created Sunlight Sculptures and Symmetrical Mandalas. We also used the storybook, ‘Leaf Man’ as a vehichle to inspire our children to create their own ‘Leaf Man’ stories and illustrations.

我们借此机会分享孩子们参与的艺术过程，家长们在家中，也可以利用户外环境，鼓励他们拓展更多的技能。孩子们用树叶创造了“自然光影雕刻”及“对称的曼陀罗”，老师用故事书《树叶先生》作为载体，启发孩子创作出自己 “树叶先生”的故事和插图。

Think about the use of leaves, flowers and grass.

想一想，如何使用树叶、花草。

Try to understand the effects of placing materials purposefully.

尝试用不同的方式去摆放材料，会呈现出不同的效果。

Create beautiful shapes and tones when the sunlight shines through the work.

当阳光透过作品，会呈现出美丽的形状和色调。

Bring your work outdoors and observe the changes of  colour and texture.

把自己的作品带到户外，在阳光下观察颜色和质地的变化。

Read the story book ‘Leaf Man’, by Lois Ehlert. Elhert, it is well known for her collage style of illustrating, using natural materials to create colourful and beautiful scenes. 

阅读露易丝.艾勒特的《树叶先生》，她擅长用拼贴式的方法做插画，来创造多姿多彩的场景。

Children can become inspired by the ‘Leaf Man’s’ illustrations, they can take photographs of leaves and can then go on to create whatever they are interested in. Hence, this is the starting point of your ‘Leaf Man’ journey.

孩子们可以从“树叶先生”的插图中获得灵感，他们给树叶拍照，然后继续创作他们感兴趣的作品，这也是孩子们自己创造“树叶先生”过程中的开始。

Discuss Andy Goldsworthy and his use of nature to create all different kinds of artwork. Also highlight the links that have been created between Andy Goldworthy’s work and the story ‘Leaf Man’  . 

讨论安迪和他用大自然来创造各种不同的艺术作品，也有强调一下安迪的作品与“树叶先生”故事之间的联系。

Children should explore nature outdoors, encourage them to think about the shapes, sizes and colour of the leaves they find. 

孩子们应该去户外探索大自然，鼓励他们去思考找到的树叶的形状、大小和颜色。

They can explore various different ways of combining the leaves to create their own ‘Leaf Man’ from the storybook!

他们探索树叶组合的各种各样的方法，来创作出自己的“树叶先生”！

By using ‘Leaf Man’ as an inspiration to create their own ‘Leaf Men’, children can connect their artistic inspirations to creative writing.

孩子们通过《树叶先生》这本书的启发，来创造自己的“树叶先生”，并且把艺术灵感和创造性写作联系起来。

Encourage your children to express their thoughts and ideas, this will enable them to create and develop a plot for their own ‘Leaf Man’ adventure! They can then go on to write their own fabulous ‘Leaf Man’ stories!

鼓励孩子们表达自己的思考和想法，这能让他们创造和展现一个属于自己的“树叶先生”的历险记，编写出专属自己的有关“树叶先生”的绝妙故事！

In Andy Goldsworthy’s art we can see elements of symmetry and shape. By observing the symmetry of the lines, children are able to go outside to find materials in nature and can implement Andy Goldworthy’s methods and free creation in their own artistic creations.

在安迪的作品中，我们可以看到对称和形状的元素。孩子们通过观察线条的对称性，走出去寻找大自然中的材料，并体现在自由的艺术创作中。

You can guide your children to be creative at home, by exploring and using a variety of natural materials that are at their fingertips. Children can practice subtraction and addition, build patterns, make shapes and so on. Mathematics, music and other different disciplines can also be naturally integrated into their artistic creations.

你们可以引导孩子们在家里发挥创造力，利用各种天然的材料，比如树叶：进行加、减法的练习；建构各种图形；将数学、音乐等不同的元素融合，进行艺术创作。

This may appear to be a very simplistic themed project, however the process of exploring the works of a particular artist and allowing children to experience the concepts and meaning of the artistic processes， enables them to grow and develop an ongoing interest in nature and art!

看似一个简单的主题，但在孩子们通过探索特定艺术家作品的过程中，会让他们体验艺术过程的概念和意义，让他们成长，并产生对自然和艺术的兴趣！

There are infinite possibilities embedded in nature and the great outdoors!

伟大的大自然中，将会有无穷无尽的可能性！
