每个孩子都有各自的性格特点，作为一名老师，我很幸运能够如此随着时间推移看到他们各自性格的逐步形成与成长。刚加入我们班的Angel是个看见生人就躲的小女孩。也很少和老师、其他小朋友讲话。
老师与家长都一起努力，始终一次次地引导她去和其他孩子说话、玩耍，但是一开始收效甚微。有一天，她手里拿着个作品跑过来跟我说“Coco老师，这个送给你”。
这可是小Angel的一个突破，让我很是震惊。在接下去的日子里，她都会用笑容来表达她的喜悦，并用言语向老师勇敢表达自己的需求。看到她如花般开始绽放于我们眼前让我们甚是欣慰！
看着孩子逐渐变得开朗、敞开胸怀，是作为老师最开心的事情之一。当我们也敞开心扉并耐心对待孩子，他们会带我们意想不到的惊喜与快乐。
Each student has their own personality and,as a teacher, I am so lucky to be able to watch those personalities evolve andgrow over time. Angel joined my class as a sweet young girl who would timidlyhide from people she didn’t know. She barely spoke with the other children andher teachers.Along with her teachers and parents, weconsistently guided her to talk and play with other children but initialprogress was slow. One day, she ran to me with some artwork in her hands andsaid, “Teacher Coco, this is for you.”
This was a breakthrough for Angel and I wasamazed. In the following days, she consistently expressed her happiness withlaughter and spoke bravely to her teachers whenever she needed something. Wewere so gratified to see her blossoming before us.
Witnessing a child become more outgoing andopen to the world is one of the greatest pleasures of being a teacher. If weapproach children with patience and an open heart, they will reward us withunexpected surprises and joys.
