Everyone has a variety of emotions. Let’s learn how to notice and how to regulate our trickier emotions such as anger or frustration.

Emotions Center
情 绪 角
Set up stuffed animals for role play, a mirror to practice some facial expressions, books and some fun things to squeeze e.g. soft balls, glitter bottles to shake, bubbles to blow.
为孩子布置一个“情绪角”,准备好用来玩角色扮演的毛绒玩具,用于练习面部表情的镜子,若干与情绪相关的书籍及一些可以用来挤压的物品,如孩子可以挤一挤的软球, 摇一摇的闪光瓶和吹一吹的泡泡等。

This is a special place where children can go to sit, relax, think or play no matter how they are feeling!

Setting up a simple emotions center can encourage kids to explore feelings and begin talking about how they feel.

Let’s Get Our Energy Out!

When we feel certain emotions we often have excess energy that needs to be released before we can feel calm. Squeezing Oranges is an activity that helps release that energy. This is also a fun activity that can result in something yummy at the end!
当我们感受到一些情绪时,通常是我们的身体里还有多余的能量没有被释放出来,当把这些能量释放掉后,我们就会感到轻松。挤压橙子是一个能帮助幼儿释放多余能量的活动。这个活动很好玩,活动结束后还能享用美味的橙汁哦!

Making playdough
Here is a video showing you how to make ‘moon sand’(homemade playdough). It is also fun to squeeze, grab and play with. You can add lavender or orange essential oils to make it a calming activity!

Shake it out! Start by shaking your hands. Start to shake more parts of your body until everything is shaking. You can put on your favourite song to shake like “Shake it Off’ by Taylor Swift!
