It is fishing time again. Carmelito and his playmates go to the stream. Each fishes in a way that pleases him or her. So long as they think it is fun, they do not care if they can catch anything.
“Look! Here’s a frog! Let’s chase it!”
“Oops, my stick dropped into the stream!”
“You can only catch a bigger fish if you’re on a higher ground! Ha-ha!”
Half the day passes, but none has caught even a small fish.
“Tsk-tsk, the fish are not biting today. I’m going home!”
Some of the chicks have lost patience.
“What’re you fussing about? You’re scaring the fish away!
It’s really annoying.”
“A fish swallowed my hook!” Chubby exclaims,”And it’s a big one!”
All the chicks rush over and crowd around Chubby. Staring at the prize catch, they wonder what it is: it is neither a salmon nor a walleye. It is not a fish at all. It is a sack!
又是钓鱼的日子! 卡梅利多和伙伴们来到小河边，他们用自己能想到的各种方法来钓鱼，管它能不能钓到呢，只要好玩就行。
“来呀，这里有只青蛙！快追！”
“哎哟，我的棍子掉进河里啦！”
“居高临下，才能钓到大鱼呢！哈哈！”
可是，半天过去了，他们连一条小鱼儿也没钓着。
“唉，鱼根本就不上钩嘛，我回家了！”有的小鸡已经失去了耐心。
“吵什么？鱼都被你们吓跑啦！真烦人。”
“上钩啦！”小胖墩突然喊道，“还是条大鱼呢！”
大伙儿赶紧跑过来，围在小胖墩周围，眼巴巴地瞅着这个战利品：它既不是鲑鱼，也不是白斑鱼，而是一只——麻袋。
