看!培基双语幼儿园的游泳馆内多么热闹，70多名游泳小健将及专业的游泳教练集聚这里，由培基双语幼儿园主办的2019年度培基双语幼儿园游泳公开赛即将拉开序幕。
Look! Baston swimming club is so busy that more than 70 swimming athletes and professional swimming coaches gather here. The 2019 swimming open competition of Baston Bilingual Kindergarten is about to start.
现场各项准备工作已就绪，教练在和孩子们讲述着今天比赛的注意事项，当魏教练哨声一吹，小小健将就要开始比赛了！早上九点半，比赛正式开始。
The preparation work has been done. The coach and the children are focused on the race. When coach Wei’s whistle blows04, a little master will start the race.
首先进行的是个人项目——小班组25米自由泳打腿、中班组25米自由泳打腿和25米蛙泳；别看小朋友们萌萌哒，可到水里，个个像小鲤鱼似的，争先恐后向前猛游，引来一片欢呼声。
The first event was the 25m freestyle kick of little class followed by the 25m freestyle kick and 25m breaststroke of Middle Class. They are no longer children anymore. They are like fish swimming down a stream. Everyone cheers them on.
接着是大班组50米蛙泳蹬腿、25米蛙泳、25米仰泳；选手们个个年少气壮，跃跃欲试。随着教练哨声一响，选手们一跃而下，如离弦之箭，一发不可收，激起千层浪。
Then came the group 50 meter breaststroke kick, 25 meter breaststroke and the 25 meter backstroke. The swimmers were all young and eager to try. With the sound of the coach’s whistle, the players jumped down. Like an arrow from the string this caused a thousand waves.
然后就是我们的团体项目（接力赛：每园区班级各占一条泳道，选出每队速度最快的4名选手参赛，每人进行25米比赛项目的全力游进，本道选手触岸边后，下一名选手出发）——小班组4*25米自由泳打腿接力、中班组4*25米自由泳打腿接力、大班4*25米蛙泳接力；小小健将们个个训练有素，一招一式都透着专业水准，他们与水共舞，带来了“泳之美”的享受。
And then there is our group races. (relay: Each Kindergarten class accounts for a lane. Each swimmer swims for 25 meters event and then the swimmers hit the shore, the next swimmer sets off. We will have a number of teams representing their kindergartens. Each team 4 * 25 meters freestyle kick, 4 * 25 meters freestyle relay, 4 * 25 m breaststroke kick relay relay. All our little athletes are well-trained. They dance with the water and demonstrate the “beauty of swimming.”
哇，我们大班的孩子对教练发出了“挑战”——接力赛，教练和孩子商定，孩子们正常蛙泳，而我们的教练倒着游只用手；小小少年勇气可嘉，看到的是教练对孩子们的爱护和尊重；为我们的孩子和教练点赞！
Wow, our Basic class of children issued a “challenge” to the coach. The coach and Basic in a relay race. The coach and the children agreed. The children choose breaststroke, and our coach swim backward with only his hand and no kicking. The coach and the children take part in the friendly competition. It’s a joy to see the coach’s love and respect for the children and vice versa.
最后，全体获奖的小小运动员与裁判、教练人员一起合影，铭记这一刻。整个比赛活动在快乐、热烈、友好、振奋中圆满完成，孩子们收获了喜悦和友谊。
Finally, all the winning young athletes took photos with the judges and coaches to remember this magical moment. The whole competition was completed in a happy, warm, friendly and exciting way. The children left feeling happy and fulfilled.
